  1. Mission statement
    The mission of Dongshan library is to create independent readers and help students become engaged readers. To meet student needs, we provide an information and literature enriched library to develop independent lifelong learners.
  2. Collection
    The library's collection includes a diverse range of books, audio files, e-books, and journals. The entire collection can be checked out.

    During fall and spring semesters, we're open from 7.30am to 5.00pm. Monday to Friday. Further Announcements will be made for winter and summer breaks.
  5. Borrowing Services and Policies
    • Faculty and Staff:
      The number of items you can check out at a time is 10. Books are loaned for 4 weeks and are eligible for renewal once.
    • Students:
      The number of items you can check out at a time is 2. Books are loaned for 2 weeks and are eligible for renewal once.
  6. Reading Challenges Competition
    • Excellence in Reading
      • Junior High Department: borrow more than 60 books per semester
      • Senior High Department: borrow more than 30 books per semester
    • Reading Pass Awards
      • Bronze Reading Award for reading 5 books
      • Silver Reading Award for reading 10 books
      • Gold Reading Award for reading 25 books
      • Super Star Reading Award for reading 30 books
